AACSB International (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business), which was established in 1916 in United States of America, is the longest serving global accrediting body for business schools that offer undergraduate, masters and doctorate degrees in business and accounting. One of the business schools – UPM – in Malaysia is accredited by AACSB International.

The UPM business school is ranked 123 today and is comparable with other top business schools such as the London Business School, INSEAD, University of Pennsylvania, Harvard University, Yale University, Columbia University, EDHEC Business School, Warwick Business School, University of Toronto etc. in terms of adherence to high standards of academic excellence.

The accreditation process involves rigorous internal review, evaluation, and adjustment and can take several years to fulfill 21 requirements set by AACSB International. All accredited schools must go through a peer review process every five years in order to maintain their accreditation.

For International Students

Of the many initiatives, UPM Malaysia offers a Certificate Programme for Business Management for international students. The are many variant certificate programmes from Global Business, Strategic Management, Creative Thinking, Data Science, Block Chain, Negotiation Skills Stress Management, Time Management and range from a 3 hours session to a day, 3 or 5 days to two weeks session. On completion of the programmes, the students are awarded certificates.
